A week ago I did roughly 36 lbs of butt for the weekend...fed some friends and now this weekend they ask if they buy the meat will I smoke it!! I guess my answer was a yes! One couple in their early 80's say it's the best pulled pork they've ever eaten...never had any that has been so moist. If they're lying they sure made me feel good while doing so! Okay...I was going to post a pic but am I not able to with my I phone?

Wow! I did 23lbs of butt, and ended up with just over 11lbs of pulled pork. How many people did you serve with 36lbs?

    @ jai-bo...If its the 49ers then I'll feed them.

@ shedfarm...it was a small gathering but I'm of the mindset that if I light the lump for one butt then I just as well load the grate and do as much as I can and seal the rest for the freezer. I place 4 - 8-9lb butts on the XL and let it do it's magic! Bad Byron's rub and hickory chunks.
