In place of the three feet.Get a 1" thick fire brick and break it into three pieces.Place under the egg as you would the feet.
To seal off the dome using the Daisy wheel, Take a piece of heavy duty foil and wrap it tightly over the top damper.Then put the Daisy wheel over the foil.
I've seen that done at eggfests when it was time to shut down and that way there was no chance of dropping or breaking the customers demo rain caps.

I was told rain cap is staying. I just bought a 2012 large model with a rain cap, and no feet.
