    Really don't know the outside limit but I have gone around 4 hours, tightly double wrapped in HDAF and towels then loaded into to cooler where it was a tight fit.  Still well in the 150's temp-wise when time to slice.
    Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. # 38 for the win.  Life is too short for light/lite beer!  Seems I'm livin in a transitional period.

    I had a butt in for 12 hours and it was still 140 when I pulled it. It really all depends on the cooler, how it's wrapped, did you throw towels in there etc. only guaranteed safe way it to keep your temp probe in there and do it by temp (not time). Towels will give you a lot more time if you need it.
