Older Egg Question

I have the opportunity to buy an older model egg that is in great shape but it doesn't have the hinges to keep the lid on it.  Does anyone have an idea of the approximate age and can the hinges be added to it to offer the convenience of holding the lid in place.

Thanks in advance for any help.

There has been several models of hinges so its hard to say the age. About 10 to 15 years ago they were a little lighter green color than they are now so if its the same green as now then its not that old. The new band assembly for a large is $100 and will fit.

Does it have a lever to hold the dome open?
