Third cookout on the new BGE- buffalo burgers! Got some ground buffalo at the local grocery. The wife provided the spices. Stablized the egg at 450F and slapped them on for 4 min. flipped them, and put the red onions on. Another 4 min. I put cheese on and put the buns on to toast them. Two minutes later and everything came off. The picture was snapped as they were coming off the egg. Never paying $12 for a buffalo burger at the local restaurant again!

Martini...where's the beer with those burgers? Might as well have a spritzer of some kind.

Were the buffalo burgers juicy enough?  Buffalo meat is typically very lean.  I buy 80% to 85% hamburger meat because it makes a much more juicy hamburger.  I know it isn't as heart healthy, but aren't most things that we cook on the Egg not-so healthy?

Martini is for in case the fire does down ;) A few drops of that and the fire roars back to life.

You grilled the onions right on the grill, I have to try that next time. I always fry them with mushrooms on the stove, Buffalo is tasty stuff.

Martini... My kind of guy, Gin I hope and you let it smell the Vermouth bottle. :-)

Beefeaters gin, my friend. And I just wave the vermouth bottle over the glass to catch the fumes.

Smokesniffer... Makes nice grill marks on the onions. Give it a try.

Have you tried New Amsterdam, if you like Beefeater I think you will like it...
A few years ago I picked up a couple of bottles of Beefeater Royal Crown in London Airport, best Gin I have ever tasted. Alas I have never seen it again and we have been to England several times since.
