So I put 2 pounds of humble navy beans on the egg at 1322 hrs and just took them off 8 hours later.  They are SCREAMIN' good!  Too late for dinner tonight but they reheat well and will be standing by for the duck in a few days.  Learned a few lessons about temp control along the way.  I love my egg.

I smoked some pork hocks for about 3 hours, finished cooking them in a pressure cooker, separated the meat from the fat & bone and added the meat to some Bush beans that I seasoned up ... Lovely!
