Temperature problem

Hi. I was cooking spare ribs and was easily able to maintain the tempature for 3 hours and then it went up 600 and I could no bring it down below 400. I closed everything and still no luck. Please help. Thank you

    depending on how long it sat at 600.. it might take a while to come back down. the longer it sat. the longer it will take. did anything change? did you open the lid and have the DFMT swing open and you maybe didn't realize it? (happened to me today :) )
