Last night's leg of lamb

I've been craving Greek style legg of lamb for a while. Finally found a smaller sized cut at Fresh and Easy, most are too big for just the two of us. Marinated it in evoo, lemon juice, fresh oregano & thyme, salt, pepper and garlic for a few hours. Also marinated some veggies in balsamic, evoo, garlic & herbs de Prevance.

Put the lamb on the egg to sear a few minutes at about 500. Then lowered them temp to roast the lamb & veggies.

Off the grill and sliced. A little more done than I prefer, but it was good.

Plated w/Tzatziki sauce and pita bread. A delicious dinner.

    That looks mouthwatering!!! :P
  • Teresa, it looks good to me. In the 3rd pic, the lambs looks perfectly pink in the center. I love leftover lamb, especially with the tzaziki and pitas. Nice dinner.
Happily egging on my original large BGE since 1996... now the owner of 6 eggs. Call me crazy, everyone else does!

Thanks Faith! For some reason I just don't like leftover lamb. But this was very good, leftover sammy's should be good.

Teresa: Looks pretty darn good to me!! Love the greek flavors, too! Nice job! It was lamb night here last night, too. Had dinner guests and grilled a couple racks. Nice job, and love the flavors you chose!
