Relatively speaking!
8 hours on the road and just west of Ft. Worth...about 130 miles to go!
Hope Loco_engr is on the road, too

Mickey, I like Aurelia's chorizo sausage. She is from the area and I like to support the locals. I have met he a couple times at CM.
The sausages were the first things to be gobbled up on our trip. Lloyd and I are making his sister and brother in law into foodies. Working on making them eggers :

If I may jump in on this (uninvited), I know the answer you seek. As you know, Columbus mistook his landing in the Americas as being India. And so, he named the natives Indians. He also mistook the chile (caspicum) for the pepper plant, which is native to India. I suppose it was because both are warmish to the the taste.
So, not only do we celebrate the biggest mass murderer in human history, but we're also stuck with two misnamed entities that he created for us.__________________________________________Dripping Springs, Texas.Just west of Austintatious
