A Carnivore Weekend

Finally got a chance to try Big'uns new rub as I loaded up at the fest with sauce and rub, nothing like saving shipping ;) .
Did up a few legs yesterday without sauce and love it



So today it was spares
trimmed and ready


rubbed and on at 250


with some cherry wood from a forum friend that came from his competition stash :huh:


Some of the stash from last weeks fest


4 hour mark and the trimmings come off, nice mid day snack


6 hours and ready to sauce with the Carnivore sweet, goes great with the rub


6 1/2 hours and were ready to eat


Love the lighting :whistle:




Now it's time for a nap B)

    Nice looking spares - don't know why we don't have them more often. Looking at these pics remind me of the ribs my Dad used to cook...they were the best. Thanks for posting these today - been thinking about him a lot lately, the memories are sweet. :)

    Pat, the chicken and ribs with the Carnivore rub look delicious. :)

    At the fest, I must have eaten 20 of Big'un's wings prepared with the new rub. I just couldn't stop eating them. Yum.
