Same to you. I will have to be nice to the in-laws. They are watching the kids so we can go to the Florida fest.

Thanks, Jack!
We just got the kids off, heading back to Arkansas, so missed SS and church.
Plan to do a group bicycle ride this afternoon - 85* and sunny, but the winds are 20-25 mph, so it should be an interesting ride! :( -
Get that whistle ready, podner!! Gettin ready to "get'er done!!"

Back'atcha, Joan!! Have a great one!!

I hear ya.......just kiddin. My mother in law is probably at the grocery lookin into buyin' some fresh banana peels to "improve my footing" around the Egg!!

With those kinds'a winds, Mark, it's gonna be a grinder at some point. But, it is a beautiful day......enjoy it.

Hey Jack, congrats on the turkey and enjoy your day! It is a beautiful 75 degrees and sunny here in the west. A perfect Sunday.

If you get the chance sometime go to Short Stop and eat an Oyster Po Boy for me. If you'll drink a Barq's with it and sit in the 3rd booth from the counter on the inside wall that would be cool too.
Hope your cook turns out great today! -
Thanks, Teresa. Not quite so cool here, but nice none the less. In the low 80's, but the humidity is lower than usual. So, we'll take it for this time of year in this neck of the woods. Have a great day, T. And thanks for the nice wishes.

Hi Bobby.......I've done that before.....and in your seat......and with a Barq's Root Beer! Also had the roast beefs, the turkey gumbo, hot sausage and just about all the other sandwiches there. Been going there siince the days when it was s small grocery store that sold po-boys on the side. Don't live or work far from there at all. Where are you located now??

Atlanta...about 9 hours away....it's tempting some days!!
We started eating there when the Parkway closed down, basically when the old couple passed away. It definitely is not the same place now. I was thrilled to see Short Stop was still there and the same last year when I got to go there.
