Kroger lump

I have read on here that RO makes Kroger lump but I have tried two bags of it now and it is not the same. The Kroger lump takes longer to burn clean and requires a lot more per cook. I will stay with RO from Wally world or Green Egg lump. I haven't done the extended studies some others have but for my dollar, I think there is a difference!

Typically, Krogers in my area haven't carried the house brand of lump. I'll have to take a look again this season and see if I can get some.

I too live in the Atl area and have found the K-Roger brand produces more ash.

I am in Cincinnati [Kroger Headquarters]during the summer months and always use Kroger lump with good success. I have to say that I have not bought any since about August, so they could have changed suppliers since then. :)

I can't tell any difference between RO and Kroger here in Denver. Both are excellent.
