We can't wait John. It will be a great fest. The last time I was at the Hiawassee Fairgrounds I was 10 years old...ummm 46 years ago. It seems like it has changed for the better. ;) B)

It's sure changed a lot in that time span for sure, Kim! I had another meeting today with the Tourism Board and the Fair Director and we're right on track to put on a (I hope!) great show! This venue is just amazing! You couldn't ask for a better place for a fest! I know, I'm a little prejudiced, but, Joan and I have been to many, many fests across the country and this one has everything you could hope for.
I'm really looking forward to your class......along with several people we've mentioned this to!!
We're having another meeting next Thursday with all the people involved to date (vendors, planners, etc.) and I'm going to give them a "mini" version of an eggfest with some of my cooking on the small and mini!! Most of them have never experienced food cooked on the egg, so, I hope this will get them even more inspired. You ought to hear them carrying on about next Thursday!! They can't wait!! :woohoo:

It surely is, Molly! I'd love for you to be here! The pictures were taken today, so, you're not seeing any "green" like you're going to see in May!

Beautiful venue Egret! By late May, I imagine the trees will have set their leaves? Looks like a perfect and very picturesque location, nice choice!
