Leroy, you are known far and wide. Even in non-egg circles. :laugh: This magazine was in our library...directly in front of the great white throne. W/O going into too much detail, I flipped the magazine open and found myself thinking of the infamous "Spring Chicken" :laugh:

Have not tried it but sounds good.

    D#%*M!! He is global. Google says that he has over 322,000 recipes in the world named after him and his hatchlings.
    Now if he will only work on a LONEY recipe.

    Maybe you got it backwards. Maybe Leroy was named after the recipe.

    Meanwhile, a few years ago I purchased a small chunk of bologna and smoked it on Lily Large just to see what it would taste like.


    It was a long time ago and may have been the result of one of your posts. It smoked well and had a good flavor but I never did it again.

  • Yes, I was here first. And "Spring Chicken" is sort of recipe related. I live in Spring, Texas and the first thing I cooked on the Egg back in 1999 was chicken. But it was as hard as a rock. No one seems to want the recipe for "Rock Hard Chicken."
