6.5 lb flat done @ 7:30 for Super Bowl party tonight. Had it on with a but in the 250-270 degree range and done to fork tender and 190 + internal in about 7 hours. Hope my cooler is in good shape :S

  • Preheat the cooler with some really hot water before packing with towels & brisket.
  • Good luck, I just put a small 5 pound butt on, hoping to pull it about an hour or so before kickoff. Good luck with the brisket.
I raise my kids, cook and golf.  When work gets in the way I'm pissed, I'm pissed off 48 weeks a year.
Inbetween Iowa and Colorado, not close to anything remotely entertaining outside of football season.

I hate to be the one to whiz in your cheerios, but that's too long to stay in the cooler.IMO:That brisket needs to go in the fridge and be reheated later.
