While I was doing some gasket work today, my lid fell to the ground. A 3 inch triangle of clay cracked, then fell out when I fired up the Egg for dinner tonight.
A couple of questions:
Is the heat going to keep taking out the clay?
Can I glue the broken pieces back on?
Any advice/tips?
Thanks!

OOPS! Sorry try some JB Weld found in Ace hardware and other similiar stores. About $5 for a kit.
-
JB Weld should hold it for a bit but I would plan on a new dome soon.
-
Can I buy just a dome?
-
Yes,you can buy just the dome.I wouldn't trust JB weld for long,it melts at 600 degrees.
-
Give your dealer a call and see what they can do for you. It's your bad but, they may make it a little easer on you "who knows". Yes you can get a new dome by it self. Tim :(
