Venison

Have several venison backstraps and wanted to cook them on the egg. Any good cooking suggestions for the egg? Thanks in advance.

I like them medium rare to rare. If I were gonna grill them I'd cut them about 1 1/4" thick and wrap them in bacon. (filet) It helps to marinate them with some kind of tenderizer added. Just DON'T COOK THEM TOO LONG.
