The 4 rubber feet on this sealer can/will mark up your tops. I added some felt pads for now. 1” are a tad small but work. Might also add an “L” brace under sealer to help support weight on wood top.
Another cautionary tale worth mentioning- years ago when I was just getting into Sous Vide, I had a rather large SV container on the kitchen counter- the tops were Corian. The container probably held 4 gallons. At the time , I was doing a high temp cook of around 190 Degrees- the heat actually caused a stress crack in the counter top. I now am very careful about what I place on the counter top.
