I don't see what the fuss is about with raised direct. I've done chicken both ways and see no difference. Enlighten me oh great eggheads.I think it's an easier cook raised direct. Less likely to burn your meat when you walk away for a minute.
I just keep mine in egg.+1. Mine is in the egg all the time. If I'm not using it then I put it on my deck, then right back in when I'm done.
