I think it's an easier cook raised direct. Less likely to burn your meat when you walk away for a minute.I don't see what the fuss is about with raised direct. I've done chicken both ways and see no difference. Enlighten me oh great eggheads.
+1. Mine is in the egg all the time. If I'm not using it then I put it on my deck, then right back in when I'm done.I just keep mine in egg.
