  • Re: BGE For Sale

Somebody done told you wrong.  If you get $400-$500 you should deliver it and set it up for them.  Lol.   My guess would be 3-4 hundred, tops.  Good luck.
  • Re: I can't get egg hot enough for pizza

When I want the egg to get hot (700 ish) I DONT fill it up with coal. More coal = less air flow= less heat. I fill it up about halfway with nice big chunks and I've never had a problem.  A buddy of mine had the exact same problem your having, I went to his house, removed about half his coal,  and in 10 minutes we were pegged out. Trust me on this one.
  • Re: Charcoal

The absolute worst lump ive ever used.  Sparked horribly, left my food tasting like soot, etc..  Will never....ever buy again.  I honestly wouldn't use it again even if someone gave it to me. Other than that, I like it.  I will stick with Royal Oak.
  • Re: Shout Out to henapple!

I met henapple this week too. Super nice guy and he sold me my first batch of Ozark Oak. Can't wait to give it a try.
  • Re: BBQ Baked Beans - need recipe

I cook my beans on the plate setter (legs up) in a foil pan while I cook my meat.  I let the juices from the meat add flavor to the beans.
