  • Re: Ash removal

I used the BGE ash tools for my large and small. For mini, I just took everything off.
  • Re: Large BGE at Sam's Club

I don't really care what BGE put up in their website. As a customer, all I cared about is big businesses (in this case, BGE) screwing over the customers. In my book, if a company wants to establish great relationship with your customers, they will do anything they can to do that. Do they have to? No they don't but if they really care about the customers, they would do it. Especially if a business knows this is happening year after year and they are not doing anything about it, there's something fishy going on. Usually, it's related to the bottom line - profit.

How does someone shopping at Sam's Club know what the warranty is? Is it printed on the outside of the box?  If they have been researching BGE's they might be aware of the lifetime warranty, but anywhere they learned about it would have included the authorized dealer provision.  If they ask the Sam's Club employee, the employee should be telling them of the Sam's Club warranty and not falsely claiming a manufacturer's lifetime warranty (Sam's Club has to well aware that they are not an authorized dealer and I doubt that they would make that claim).
You really think a Sam's Club employee who doesn't own an egg knows what the warranty covers? There are hundreds/thousands of merchandises in the store. You really think they would know every single item's warranties?
  • Re: Did I go to far? Etiquette!

Not a problem for me - would have loved to talk to some eggers and exchange pointers.

Kept quiet for a bit. Hopefully I don't misuse a word or misspell. Politics on both sides are corrupt to a certain extent. I favor the Fair Tax idea and believe it would be fair across the board. Religion, whether you believe or not shouldn't be mocked. I'm as guilty of this as anybody in poking fun at Allah etc but, these are people's ideological beliefs and should be respected. Just as I respect those that choose to be Pagan, Mormon, Scientology,Witchcraft, Buddhist, Hinduism, yes even (non radical) Islamic etc.  As a conservative I have my own beliefs and as a liberal you have yours. Which one is right & which one is wrong is debatable I guess.  The key is working together to achieve a common goal. I'm not saying we're all going to hold hands and sing Kumbaya by the BGE but, our COMMON goals can be achieved together. :peace:

Totally agree with this statement "Religion, whether you believe or not shouldn't be mocked." After reading the 100+ posts (catching up), I was personally bothered by some remarks made about religion.
