    I've used the Egg for stir fry for a couple of years and have always been happy with the results.  Tonight weather is not the best, and had to go quick as there wasn't much time between the Jays/Yankees double header today so I just did it on the gas stove top.  Made me realize just how awesome the Egg is to wok on.  The difference in heat is incomparable.

    If you know the guy well, and he's the original owner, ask him to get a warranty replacement for the fire ring as well.
