We hope everyone’s enjoying the first few days of summer. For us, the weather heating up means one thing - the EGG’s gonna be busy! Whether you’re making stuffed burgers for a backyard grill out, some brats before a baseball game or searing a steak for dinner on the patio, we hope you’re doing it with full flavor and having fun all the while!
Big Green Egg headquarters has moved - come visit our new showroom and check out the museum and culinary center too! 3786 DeKalb Technology Parkway, Atlanta, GA 30340
Glad you enjoyed the concert. I saw him in Kansas City in the 90's and it was a lot of fun. I also remember that he asked all of us to support his friends at Green Peace during the intermission and he was booed loudly. Apparently for that crowd Green Peace and music just didn't mix.
Some on this forum have had problems finding ancho chili powder (me included). Finally found it with other small bottle spices in grocery store alphabetized not under "c" where I looked for all chili powders but under "a" for ancho. Was glad to discover it, but did feel a little stupid.
Oh, and tried Mickey's rub on chicken a couple of weeks ago with a my family that doesn't like things too spicy and they really liked it. Thanks to Mickey, Richard and any others who have contributed toward the evolution of this rub.
I had same experience as MrCookingNurse. My Cowboy pieces were large but took forever to light and get ready to cook. I picked up some more RO and put a good layer of it over the Cowboy to get rid of it. Family got tired of waiting.
Dittos hapster. have enjoyed your other photos as well. I design landscapes for a living and try to create a photoshop picture and completed project that looks like some of the stuff you shoot for real. Thanks for the inspiration.
