So I have not ever heard for sure, did BGE discontinue them?
Years ago right after Ed Fisher turned over the reins.

Thanks, would you remember when that was?  If I remember correctly, when I bought my first egg 10 yrs ago I think the dealer had one on display
I'm fairly certain it was early 2010. Of course those were slow selling items so probably most dealers did not carry them and/or if they took a chance they were left on show room floors for quite some time. Honestly, I don't blame BGE for weeding out that niche market product.
We don't blame them either, but us radical eggheads still want one.
  • Re: Cast Iron Blackened Strip?

You should be fine to keep it around that temp.  Just open the dome, place on your CI skillet misted with cooking oil.  Toss on your steaks when the skillet is preheated.  Finish with herb butter.  Butter can burn fairly easily so you prolly wanna go with oil initially.
  • Re: BGE tattoos - ever see these?

@RRP , I disagreed with your above statement about @tarheelmatt .  I did not have "fat fingers", so there is no need to post on my wall asking me about it and requesting for me to take it back.   =)  I just think you're being a bit overly sensitive and that Matt said nothing negative just then.  @Lit said something about the denim... Matt did not.  Have a good weekend and cool tats!!   B)  @Mickey for Godfather!!!  :rock_on:
