  • Re: I may have a coffee problem.

I've been making my own creamer lately. 1 can (14oz) sweetened condensed milk + 16oz half & half + 2(ish) teaspoons of hazelnut extract/oil in the blender for 30 sec. It's awesome! It's actually milk unlike the Coffeemate crap that's not even from dairy and it tastes really good. My wife loves it too!
And since I've been cutting back on the sugar in my coffee anyway it's perfect with a couple spoons of this and no sugar.
    Give it a try!

Looks like your egg is on a hooka!
  • Re: Where to eat and drink in Charleston, SC?

Pretty much every restaurant in Charleston rocks, it's a foodie mecca! Jestines Kitchen for some Soul Food, Peninsula Grill for awesome seafood and Swig and Swine for incredible BBQ! (and beer).
  • Re: Stubbs Honey Pecan Sauce

I was just surprised at how different the sauce tastes cooked vs. uncooked.
  • Stubbs Honey Pecan Sauce

I gave it a try a couple of weeks ago on some thighs and they turned out awesome. I sauced them before pulling and let the sauce caramelize a bit before pulling. Man they were delicious! So, a week later I pulled it out for some chops that were ever so dry and needed a bit of dipping sauce. Totally different taste and not really to my liking..... Gave it another shot tonight on some bone in chops and sauced while on the grill again. Awesome again! This sauce tastes totally different when given a few minutes on the grill.

BTW, I mentioned it to the wife tonight and she agree, totally different taste. Then she said "honey you should post about it on the forum".

    Lol, She's a keeper!
