We hope you all got to celebrate those tasty food holidays last week, we sure enjoyed them! We are even more excited about the beginning of fall, for so many reasons, but mainly for experiencing the cool, crisp air while being outside cooking up the best recipes the season has to offer. My only advice would be to not try the fancy stuff for awhile. Get a recipe and follow it EXACTLY. For meats, be sure you have an instant read Thermapen so you can pull it at the right time. Remember, we all go through slumps. I'm hopefully coming out of my latest slump. It seems everything I've made lately is no where near as good as the last time I did it. That usually happens when I get overconfident and don't pay enough attention to the details.
