  • Re: Pictures of your table!!

This is a picture of the BGE space at the house we moved from.  Note to self don't make a permanent structure if you ever plan on moving.
This is the way I chose to go at the new house...I can take them with me

  • Re: Pulled Beef

That looks good "Chief". Try it on a sandwich with sauteed onions and peppers with s a little motz cheese melted over the top. I will be in town on Nov 9th so you can cook up another one then.
  • Re: Glazed Chops on the Mini

Great looking chops. Nice pic of the high moisture content. Well Done!
  • Re: Real NC Barbecue!

Jim, I too thought the BBQ at Lexington No.1 was good but not great. I attributed this to the fact they are cooking mass quantities of pork and don't have time to devote to looking for perfection where we on our BGE cook a couple of butts and take great pains in prepping and cooking each one. The result is we can produce better Q on our eggs. I guess I had an advantage on you because I like the vinegar based sauces. Yes, the BBQ slaw is both unique and good.
  • Re: First meatloaf

Glad you had a successful cook. Meatloaf can take on so many different flavors depending on what ingredients you use.  And yes, the BGE works magic with most anything you put on it.  Nice looking egg you have there.
