It doesn’t get much hotter than the EGG cookin’ in July! Make sure to keep yourself hydrated with a bit of whatever you’re using for the Beer Can Chicken. Ice Cream Sandwiches are also a great way to stay cool. Looking for some great ideas for a summer cook out? Try out a Pimento Cheeseburger or Dr. BBQ’s Spare Rib Surprise. Just don’t be surprised if your neighbors stop by for a quick bite when they smell what you’re cooking!

Big Green Egg headquarters has moved - come visit our new showroom and check out the museum and culinary center too! 3786 DeKalb Technology Parkway, Atlanta, GA 30340

  • Mickey goes over and above

As you know Mickey was scheduled to give away 2000 turkeys to support our servicemen and women. 1000 on Friday and 1000 on Saturday. The turnout was so great Friday that he ended up giving out all 2000 that day. What did he do?
He went out and purchased another 1000 for Saturday distribution.
Now where I come from, that is over and above.
    Thanks Mickey.

  • Re: Four Beer Can Chickens on one Egg

Stuckman, I do 4 beer can method birds on my lg. all the time. Indirect on a raised grid at 350 for about 80 minutes.  I use 5+pound birds so don’t worry about room. Just be careful about how much wood you use for smoke cause chicken really can get Smokey in a hurry. Good luck
