Got my box on Friday and just WOW! Great stuff. Already tried the Feather and Fowl rub on some chix last night. Came out really tasty. Looking forward to trying all of it! Something similar happened with me a few years back. A friend of my BIL out of the blue gave me a Hobart commercial slicer. Thing weighs a ton and half. Was pretty dirty when I got it, but after cleaning it really good it works great. @hapster you asked earlier how often it gets used. I will say this, it's so big I mounted it to a rolling island thingy I got off Craigslist and then keep in my garage (no basements down here in New Orleans) and keep it covered. It's a little bit of work to clean after use but not too bad. And,,,every time I use it, I cut myself, nothing major but nick one of my fingers. It has a built in sharpener that really really works!! )
