Welcome! Anyone with "Tex" in his handle has got to fit in just fine. Be sure to come to one of our 5 Texas Eggfests and say hello. Better yet, plan to cook and join in the fun. I agree with your wife....I love chicken on the Egg!  Great job on that brisket....

What John said and more..... it was a well-planned event and for a first year I think it went very smoothly. I really liked the size of the crowd (about 400 tasters) and the best part was they were all interested in the Egg and not just there to eat.  "Houston" does not have a problem so plan onjoining us next year ......

This was indeed a great eggfest.  So glad that @Photo Egg and @Spring Hen talked us into this one. I didn't have time to take pics but I'm sure some folks took some to share. It was really a great day. Despite @20stone riding my a$$ all day about not plating  things at the correct  angle to incident light.
Too funny. Those fantastic bison balls and salsa didn't stay on the table long enough to worry about plating. So glad you @20stone and @texaswig came and had a good time.

Don't forget to go to the Texas Fisheries when you get into town to pick up your goodie bag. They will have a Brookshire grocery gift card for your last minute shopping. It is a really nice store! Look forward to seeing you all.
