Hello everyone! I am a brand new Big Green Egg owner! I have been researching and thinking about this purchase for a couple of years and I could not be more excited! We bought a package deal that was a pretty good price....large Egg, nest, egg ate shelves, plate setter, ash tool, grid gripper, bag of charcoal and lighter fire starters. We purchased just one additional accessory, the cast iron grid for searing. We put her together yesterday and I am so excited to start cooking....but what to cook?
There is so much info that I am excited and overwhelmed at the same time....please share what you can about good ideas for the first few cooks.... I know I don't want to bring the temp up too high the first time....also, I would love hints on accessories...I know the plate setter isn't popular but ours came with the package and I love to bake so I know we will get some use.....thanks in advance for all the help!
