  • Re: Preferred route to 'raised direct'?

I second the Woo setup. I have the PSWoo3. I addition to raising the grid to the felt level it provides just enough air gap between the grid and the Plate Setter when I'm using my Pizza Stone. The additional third tier 2" down in the fire box does a great job for searing.

I can't say enough good things about the folks at CGS. Tom called me on a Sunday to find out what I was trying to accomplish with my order. He actually saved me from buying things I did not need when I was brand new to this. That's exceptional customer service.

Well that piece of "snot" is about 1.5". If that is what is coming out of your nose, I'd suggest that you get to the doctor ASAP.

Welcome Jen. Great first cooks. I could not imagine what made folks so jazzed about there BGE. Well, here I am blathering away about how much I love this thing. Now that I found this forum I know what it must feel like for a Sasquatch to meet another of his kind ;-)
  • Re: Egg table casters??

My suggestion would be to look for casters with pneumatic tires. I know these tables can be heavy but I'm not sure you can get springs that are tuned to provide a stable platform for all the ways we use our Eggs. My guess is that the balloon tires will get you over most backyard obstacles smoothly.
