I can't speak to ghost pepper salt, but I have some of the Oakridge BBQ Crucible which is a ghost pepper spice mix and it is great and that is how I now do my wings. To me the heat isn't too much on the front end but it sure does build up over time. So, to answer your question, I would put that on wings.
