Way to come out swinging!  Pulled Pork Eggs Benedict?!?  Now that's awesome!
  • Re: Has anyone ever cooked ribs and reheated several days later?

I'll usually make an extra rack when I make ribs. When done, I'll cut them in half, wrap each half tightly in foil and throw them in a freezer bag and into the freezer.  That way I can pull out a half rack for dinner later.  350 for about an hour in an oven brings them back to life.

I hope everyone stays safe.  We went through that here south of Nashville a few years ago. I know what devastation can happen in a flood.  Keep those kids out of the creeks!
  • Re: Tennessee Pulled Pork

I've lived most of my life in Tennessee, both in Knoxville in eastern part of the state and Franklin in middle Tennessee and I can't say that I've come across a Tennessee style of pulled pork.  Most of the places i've been too serve a straight-up pulled pork sandwich.  My guess is that the article is reporting on a style near the North Carolina boarder.
Having said that, I have seen lots of places serve on hoe cakes rather than buns.

Mmmmm.....pickle juice.  A little goes a long way.  Good job!
