  • Re: Grass or Grain Fed?

We switched to grass-fed a little over 3 years ago. Everyone is correct in that it is leaner, but, to us, the flavor is deeper if that makes sense. We get ours from a local gentleman that raises his own cows, so it is a one source supply. I agree that you should see if you could buy a few "samples" from your source to try first before buying in bulk.

  • Re: Off Topic - Going through divorce, need advice

There is no such thing as an amicable divorce. My advice would be to get an attorney and have him get those text messages for evidence, if you suspect that she has actually committed adultery. It may seem civil now, but once she gets an attorney, that is very likely to change, so protect yourself. I'm sure you are in somewhat of a state of shock, but do what you have to do. Any attorney worth his salt will advise you to have her removed from the house immediately, not in 2017, and get custody of your daughter, if that is what you want. An old adage worth repeating "Where there's smoke, there's fire". FWIW.
  • Re: A Tale of Two Chickens Spinning

Thanks, @tjv. I'll give that a try next time, although, I've never had any of them dry out. That's what I love about rotisserie cooking. It is so easy. That being said, we'll be giving your adjustable rig a serious workout since wing season is upon us. Wings and football are a match made in heaven. Thanks, Tom, for helping make the egg so versatile.

Congratulations @Slabotnick, I hope you enjoy it as much as we do. Chickens are stellar and an easy cook for the first spin.
  • Re: OT - What are you doing right now?

@Jeremiah, those are Aerogarden Bounty machines. You have 9 pods of space available with a 45 watt LED light. Those gardens were planted on 7/4 and they grow like wildfire. It seems that Amazon bought all of these machines since Aerogarden site is temporarily out. They're 209.99 on Amazon and were 349.00 on the Aerogarden site. Might seem like a lot of money, but I've used them for years. You just keep replanting when something is done producing. You don't have to fight the heat and critters. You just feed them every two weeks and keep the water topped off. Easy peasy.
