  • Re: Anybody Vape?

Maybe they'll come out with a cannabis once we legalize it. Hopefully FL will be next in line for ppl it could benefit. Not trying to go OT here.

What do you mean?  Like "vaporize" marijuana?  That's what the PAX is for (pictured on page 1).    They also make oils and oil pens for use with weed and all of it can be purchased with cash and an ID over the counter.  I love living in  a legal state.
  • Heres how i start my fire now

I was tired of the chimney starter and the small blue propane bottle (map torch?) took too long.  One day I was torching weeds in my yard and figured I would try to get the egg going with my weed torch.  holy $h!t!  it only took 30 seconds!  I will never light an egg another way except for low and slow cooks.  For high heat, this baby gets the fire going in no time!

  • Re: Is this a full packer brisket or just a flat?

Thanks husker dude. I'm a cornhusker fan myself. I have seen those but will watch again while working tomorrow. I should also point out I bought this on a whim. I went to a new store for some other groceries and since they had full packers and it was the first time I ever saw a choice cut in a store around here, I bought one. They also only had two to choose from. The other was only 7.5 pounds so I picked up the heavier one.
  • Re: Buffalo Chicken Pizza

This is one of my favorite pizzas!   Heres mine.  It is a little simpler.  I made it again the other night.    Today im going to make a brisket, bbq sauce and onion pizza for lunch.

  • My VOC reducer/lump filter

Let me start by saying I have NO scientific evidence this works, but it seems to work for me. It only takes an extra minute or so to filter it so why not give it a try?  the buckets are $2.95 from home depot.

I noticed that when I dumped a bag of lump in my egg and it was towards the end of the bag and there were lots of little pieces and dust, the "VOC's" took longer to burn off.  So, I created this handy contraption.  I drilled 1 inch holes in a bucket.  Put that bucket into another bucket and dump your lump in.  Shake it, rattle it etc and get all the dust to go into the bottom bucket.  pour the filtered lump into egg and viola!  To me, it seems to be ready to cook faster and the "bad" smoke seems to burn off faster.  maybe its all in my head!
