  • Re: An Actual Cook Post

On Sunday, pulled beef.  Pepper stout inspired, but only beef broth for the braise.  There was a point where we were alcohol free, but then the work week drove us back to drink.  Leftovers have been killer for lunch.

  • An Actual Cook Post

I did a couple of cooks this weekend.  Saturday I did a turkey breast, and it turned out as well as any turkey I've done on the egg.  Super simple, out of the packaging from Wegmans, seasoned with DP Mad Max, and on the egg at 325 until an IT of 160.

  • Re: Brisket sizes

Sounds about right for a full packer.  If you don't like freezing meat, how about freezing chili.  I routinely make large batches of brisket chili and keep that in the freezer for quick dinners/lunches, etc.

Also, I know folks around here have brought meat to fire departments/police departments/etc.  that could be an option too.

This gluten free thing has really gotten out of hand.

Sesame Street meets Bone Thugs and Harmony... Hilarious.

Very good, but I still think MWA (Muppets With Attitude) is the class of the genre.
