    I think it definitely burns cleaner.  Haven't quite seen the results you're getting, but cleaner than a lot of others I try.  Unfortunately, difficult to get where I live in Oregon.  My parents live in Cheyenne and visit my Grandmother in northern Arkansas a few times a year so they usually stock up for me and bring it out on one of their trips out here.  I know they have 17 bags sitting in their garage, waiting for delivery out here soon, but not soon enough.

    I needed to do something as well and have found something that has definitely worked well for me.  I used to box in my younger days and while it was definitely much easier to drop weight then, when I needed to drop weight, I really only made changes to my diet after 4pm.  Before 4pm, it was always anything goes.

    Starting at the beginning of February, I started a paleo diet - after 4pm.  Before 4pm, I ate carbs although as I've made progress, I tend to skip carbs most days, not because I'm trying to, but I just don't miss them.  I've never missed pasta.  Rice is a little different since I love cajun / creole dishes and you don't eat many of those without rice.  Nevertheless, was a rock after 4pm every day and since Feb 1, have lost 30 lbs.  This is a diet where I'm supposed to grill a steak and have it with some bacon-wrapped asparagus.  Hasn't exactly been a challenge.  In reality, I eat a lot more leaner meats, but if it fits the paleo plan, I don't sweat anything.

    Born and raised in NoDak where UND hockey was the closest thing we had to professional sports.

    Waiting on mine - but it's coming.

    I'm in Portland, OR.  Only way to get OO around here is to order online.  Luckily for me, my parents had to go to Rogers, AR recently.  They also have to come out to Portland in late September.  They now get to travel with an SUV full of OO.  My dad picked it up at a local grocery store for under $6/bag.  Can't beat that but the wait is killing me.  Have to pick up a couple of bags of something else to get me through.
  • Well Fed Office Today

    Still trying to dial in preparing and cooking butts on the egg so figured I would try a few different rubs and take the results to work today.  We only have about 25 people in our office, but I've never seen ~12 lbs of meat disappear faster.  I'm sure that the little remaining will disappear throughout the afternoon.  The 3rd went to a firefighter buddy of mine.  Started the larger ones at 6 last night.  They finally finished at 8 this morning.  I had held the smaller for a couple hours and it actually finished a little earlier as well.  Mixed up a mustard / vinegar based sauce and a Raspberry-Habanero sauce to go with it all.  Something tells me I'll be doing this again before long.
