  • Look at the question area.  Quotes a guy $430 to ship it. $800 for  broken egg missing all of the guts.  At least the DFMT is in decent shape.

  • Replaced my gasket with the nomex gasket before I ever assembled the egg.  What adhesive I couldn't scrap with a razor blade I rubbed off with my thumb.   I've spun the thermo a few times doing clean burns.  Gasket is holding strong.  Only down si…

  • I have to agree with some here that there may be some over reaction by the Doc.  If she was telling you your arteries were clogging up, that would be one thing.  I think this is another. Either way, Here is a good grilled german potato salad recipe…
  • I would pay money to see a wife's face when you backed up the driveway with that.
  • I'll be the guy that asks the dumb questions. What is sous vide? What does it do and how does it work? I see a water cooler and an aquarium pump, what is the 3rd piece?
  • I've been looking but haven't had the stomach to pay for them yet.  I can tell you that those $8 welding gloves from Harbor Frieght have left a welt or two on my digits and my wife may or may not be thrilled with all of the black marks on her kitche…

  • In response to BGE not replying to your email:  You mentioned law suit.  No one in their right mind is going to respond to that email, whether you repsented you were not going to sue or not.

  • I always let mine set in the frisge for a week.  It takes a while for that smoke flavor to penetrate that cheese.  Compare the structure of the cheese to that of meat and should make sense why.

  • I just use olive oil because it's what I have out in my bottle when I'm cooking.  Vegatable oil would be a cheaper alteranative.
  • I did 2 this weekend.  The first one I put on parchment paper and put it in the 500 degree egg on a warmed up but not hot pizza stone.  It really didn't cook well in the middle.  Very doughy.  The second one I tried I left on the tray.  The pizza st…
