I went to walmart yesterday on someone's recommendation. Can't stand the place but they had packer briskets- choice for $2.98/lb. only place besides New York butcher shop that I have found them around here.
I can't find anywhere that sells packers except for NY butcher shop and he only has occasionally and they are approx $9-10/lb for choice- would love to find a more reliable and reasonable place to purchase
Indirect high in the dome- about 400 for 45-1hr. Before cooking I add rub and a little corn starch- after cooked I sauce and put back on the girl for another 5 min to set sauce. Give @Dyal_SC 's a try with mango, jalapeño, and chili- they are great
