  •      I love them both.  For my XL I have the Woo2/AR combo and the CGW 2 tier.  I love them both and wouldn't want to be without either.  Pros/cons are too many too list, and possibilities are endless, but basically CGW 2 tier for sears and lower vo…
  • "I don't understand why a small group of people start squawking about how they're offended about something and desire the power to regulate content others enjoy when that small group has the power to ignore it." +1, Amen
  • I guess I'm a rookie and don't understand what the problem is? A guy running a small business along with a lot of forum members are excited to talk about a product. Sounds all-American to me? I like Franco's enthusiasm, and he makes a great produ…
  • AleBrewer said: What's a swing rack??  http://ceramicgrillworks.com/products-page/product-category/large-2-tier-adjustable-swing-rack-system/
  • Trolls aside, it's a great product. I prefer instant gratification, but will wait to do business with small American company using American labor and American materials, run buy a good guy with great customer service. You can always not order it o…
  • That's what I was thinking. I usually do large, low and slow cooks on XL. I was considering adding spider to gain even more vertical. What's a "Q cook"?
  • @Baysidebob-   I think the difference between the two is main grill level.  Woo2 is at the gasket and spider is (or can be) lower.  Woo2 is basically a spider with a raised ring attached.  I was gonna grab a spider because some of my larger cooks en…
  • @CGW1- Got your tracking info, thanks much
  • @ jedawa - thanks for the order, should be able to get something to you soon.  I'll reply to your email order with additional info. @ cortguitarman - I appreciate the kind words, thanks. Thanks Franco, I look forward to it...
  • Big +1. For my XL I got the adjustable rig combo with woo2, stone and pan. The options and capacities are just about limitless. Product quality and Tom's customer service are absolutely amazing... http://shop.ceramicgrillstore.com/xl-woo2-adju…
  • @CGW1- I just ordered swing rack for XL. Any word on time frame?
  • Got it and, wow!  I don't know how I ever grilled without it.  No more wait for it, wait for it, wait for it...  Now maybe my arm hairs will grow back.
  • Thanks guys, I was pretty sure but they're pricey enough I want to get it right. And it's not just you BuckeyeBob, lot of people spell it thermopen for some reason.
  • +1 on the adjustable rig...  I'm a newbie with an XL too.  I got the ar combo with woo2, 17.5" stone, and drip pan.  Let's me put stone lower than plate setter for more room.  I can do several roasts, butts, and ribs with room to spare.  FYI- The st…
  • Looks like thirdeyeQ is taking orders again. Maybe just the wiggle rods though... http://thirdeyeq.com/Order.html
  • Thanks for the tips. I'm gonna try the shovel stir and the used lump from starter in the coming days. As I'm grilling now I still have hot/cold spots, argh. So far I've mainly done low and slow's where it didn't matter.
  • That light will melt if you do a high heat sear and leave the dome open, so be careful. @FlyingTivo -Thanks FlyingTivo, I would have walked right into that one.  I mainly do low and slows, but did a sear tonight.  I happened to catch your post …
  • I might need to work on my stirring technique...  I've got one of these in the shop that I forgot about, I'm thinking it would work great? http://www.amazon.com/Milwaukee-8978-20-Variable-Temperature-Heat/dp/B00005Q7AY/ref=sr_1_9?ie=UTF8&qid=1…
  • @dlk7 Yeah, I should have mentioned that.  I'm filling the lower grate on Woo2 and want to get even sear on all the steaks.  Thanks for mentioning the looftlighter, that's just the excuse I was looking for to get one.  Just out of curiosity though, …
  • If any of you Northern California Eggers are intertested in this micro adjuster...we have 6-7 at Eggs by the Bay.   I found them just the other day stired away in a box.  We also have several green ceramic feet. I would also take a micro adjus…
  • Tried several pricey ones on my XL that just ended up being irritating. Settled on this one. Bright, rotates, pivots, and it's cheap... http://www.lowes.com/pd_23564-14488-SBQ-3998-C…
  • @lousubcap- Thanks again, that vent advice was literally in the nick of time.  I would have sooty chops right now otherwise.  At 3 min per side I only dwelled for another two or so minutes.  Pulled at a high 170 but they're still delicious.  Was out…
  • Thanks for the welcome lousubcap.  I actually got it in late May, did a couple pork butts, then had to shut it down for a burn ban, argh!  Ban was lifted this morning and I'm back at it.  Gonna try to sear and dwell some thinner pork loin chops toni…
  • Wow, I never imagined a bbq forum could get so tense.  I mean the gun forums sure, but bbq??  I'm a new, greener than green rookie.  Just went off the deep end and got an XL.  I wanted to do slow and lows so I soon realized I wanted a CyberQ.  Now w…
