  • I did a 14 lb bird spatchcocked on my large....again some birds are long and some are short but fat...I used a short but fat bird to fit...best of luck and enjoy the grubb....
  • I have done a 14 pounder before but all birds are a little different in their structure.  Birds smaller than this easily fit on a large.  You can use a V rack under the middle to elevate and fit a larger bird on if push comes to shove.  I'm with Mic…

  • I must say that price is not the end all.....Value with the merchant and customer service goes a long way when the buyer has a problem or gets in a bind with a product.  I hardly ever "kill" the merchant and I have generally no problems getting help…
  • I bought my large at Casual and they did price match but I didn't ask about any other discount.  I also priced and bought my small at Lanier's Hardware in Lexington.  I like both places but I get me some BBQ while I'm in Lexington over at the Honey …

  • if you watch some of the shows almost everyone of the bbq joints in Texas use butcher paper I reason cause it's cheap to buy and serve food in....clean up is easy and straight forward....fwiw
