Depending on the crowd coming over, either Brisket or Pork Butt. Also doing Chicken for lunch through the week and a fruit tart for desert. Will even have the Crock Pot going as well unless I can get the second egg today/tomorrow (which is the plan.)

I have been looking at one of the long mechanic type toolboxes that HD sells. Use the drawers for storing the small things, and the door for the Plate Setter/AR/Lump. They also have one with a wood top that I think could be used as a cutting board.

It;s the first Apple one, I normally do Cherry but wanted something different. I did it first along with the veggies, then did the Ribeyes at 600 for 3 minutes each side. On the last 3 minutes I put the veggies in and got them heated up again.
I don't think you would have an issue with using it on a wood deck. The sparks dont really "live" that long and from what I have seem they are usually burned out before they hit the ground. Of course that is not saying that something could happen...
I love mine. One thing I learned from someone else is to light it in the 12, 3, 6, 9 o'clock positions and in the middle. It will evenly light that way. Next to the AR, I think that is my best buy for the egg.
I am not doing Easter cook on my Egg, but I am doing a Babby Shower Brunch for one of my nieces on the Saturday before and doing Bacon Wrapped Stuffed Jalapeno's, Bacon wrapped Scallions, Apple and Peach Enchalidas, and Smoked Chicken Salad.

It looks like most of you all have gone with the small. How big is the cooking area? Will I be able to do a pork butt or brisket on it instead of using the large? (The butt is usually about 8 pounds, and brisket is about 10-12 pounds)
