  • I cook mine direct on a cedar plank. Dome temp 375-400 for about 20 - 30 minutes or internal temp is 150.
  • I recently got the Thermoworks RT600C pocket thermometer. Reads in 6 seconds or less and fit my budget much better than their Thermopen. Seems to work well. I found it here http://www.amazingribs.com/BBQ_buyers_guide/index.html
  • Did the veggies in foil tonight. Mushrooms, asparagus, green peppers and zucchini. Tossed them in EVOO and lightly salted with sea salt, then 13 minutes at 350. Fabulous! Thanks for the tip BOOKSW.
  • We have a Samsung 60 inch LED 3D and have never watched a 3D movie. Spent a few minutes with the 3D glasses and a 3D channel from Directv. Got a headache, put the glasses in a drawer. We didn't pick the TV because of the 3D, it is just a great HDT…

  • Thanks for all the good suggestions. It just seems the large egg isn't very large when you start putting a couple of things on it. Looks I might need to go up. Wife prefers grilled veggies over the foil idea so I'm thinking the half moon perforated…
