Welcome aboard. We have had our egg since last May and cook time is still our weak spot. Over on most under on a few. Get a notebook and keep a log, it is helping us. Enjoy!
Really like the design. Very innovative. Perfect for a townhouse yard like mine. What is the brand name of your UML? My dealer sells Cambia which I believe was the first one. It is Poplar and is a lot blacker in color. Your yellow pine should wear l…
If you decide to do it in the house and use the spray 77 for adhesive you need to get like a 50'x50' drop cloth cause the overspray floats around and makes everything sticky. This is experience talking. LOL
It is not a big deal cause I'm going to go by the Thermapen. Just wondered if everyone gets that much range between thermometers. I did calibrate the dome thermometer a while back. The Maverick is an older single probe ET-72. I don't see any way to …

My first bag was the same. Some of it was too big. Second bag this weekend was very disappointing. A few fist sized chunks and the rest just broken to small pieces.
Looks great! Wish we had that much room Another side effect of egging, the need to upgrade the cooking area. We had our old on grade deck removed and the area done in pavers so the egg would not be embarrassed.
Do you have a Wegmans grocery? I have been having good luck with theirs. Got a bag of Wicked Good from Dizzy Pig. The chunks were so large it was hard to get started.
Mine pulled loose the first cook. I just glued it back and it lasted 2-3 months. Still don't have a gasket. Not sure it's worth the trouble to replace it. We have done a couple of low and slow cooks and though we lost a little smoke it did not seem …
15 years old. Listened to it on the radio in a truck. My first job was working for a produce stand. We were bringing a load of cantaloupes back from the eastern shore of Maryland. It was "on" everywhere we stopped.
