What do you mean no smoke?
I was going to post today, about tips to reduce smoke.
Besides flare-ups and what not, the smoke just billows from my egg. I'm using BGE Charcoal.
Is there a certain wait I should be preparing my charcoal when lighting, or…
I never had a chance to follow up with this thread.... but here's my table.
It sits quite higher than I would have liked but I think it's OK. The firebricks are a bit high. Do I need the legs above the firebricks?
Haven't cooked on it yet.
So I went ahead and did it this weekend.
Took me a few hours yesterday and today. Made it out of cedar. It's not perfect, but it's pretty darn good if you ask me. I haven't built many things.
Pics to follow. I'm super pumped and glad I did it. T…
The Adjustable Rig looks pretty cool. How does that compare to the plate setter?
I find the Ceramic Grill Store website maybe one of the most confusing websites I've ever been on. They could really explain that a lot better...

And at the very least, offer an extended warranty to buy. Have Costco or the dirty distributor foot the bill through legal action. Maybe it's $99 bucks or something. I dont know. But it's certainly not the customer's fault.
We're talking hundreds an…
This is probably the work of a distributor. So of course, these Eggs would be just as they come from the factory. I'd wonder how many Eggs do you think a large distributor could get his hands on? At this time of year (just about to be BBQ season)…
I bought a Movado watch from Costco and inside the box was a note that stated any and all warranty claims should go through the Costco warranty department. I haven't, unfortunately, found an egg near me but I wonder if it may have a similar notice.
I asked Costco about the warranty issue - the manager played shocked and dumb and said anything coming into Costco would be a legit non-grey market product and would be covered by warranty.
He also said to keep documentation of anything about this f…
