  • Did a 15 pound turkey yesterday at 325 with just salt and pepper.  Was spectacular, nicely browned skin, extremely juicy.  Cooked indirect on a raised grid for about 3 hours.  Iced the breasts for 20 minutes prior to putting on, great tip.  Suprised…
  • @Canman1976  How did you get Pandora to work in canada?  Have a friend here from Alberta and his dies at the border.  Thanks

  • Stopped at RD (Mesa, AZ) yesterday to see if they would let us look around.  The woman at customer service was extremely helpful.  Said sure, do you want a day pass in case you would like to buy something?  Needless to say we made use of it.  Trying…
  • Do you need to buy full cases of the products you want?
  • Sorry to hear about your sirloin.  We are typically ribeye or porterhouse steak people.  I did buy some of AJ's prime sirloin on their last steak sale.  One of the better pieces of meat we have had recently. The key I believe is not to rush it and de…
  • A2Z said: 799.00 for large demo egg from eggfest. 10 or 15% off accessories will know when I pick up egg this weekend.  Best I could do in the Phoenix area.  I don't think they know what "threw-in" means.
  • That is truly a great looking pizza,@ Mighty Quinn  Will be trying that myself.
  • Seeing how the egg costs as much as it does, I was expecting a more comprehensive warranty. The dealer I purchased from did absolutely nothing to explain things like the warranty. It was give me the money and get the hell out.  I have not darkened hi…
  • Lifetime is a term used a little too often.  Sears used to cover their craftsman tools with a "lifetime" warranty as well.  Bought a craftsman flashlight, took it back when it quit working and they showed me on the back of the package it does not co…
  • That is interesting.  When I contacted BGE about my gasket, they said I was within a year of purchase and they sent me  a replacement.  I guess seeing how the gasket was a component  of the egg when I purchased it, it would be a lifetime replacement…
  • @IrishDevil  I see 3 year warranty?  What does the egg's "lifetime" warranty mean?  3 years is not a very long time.
  • A lot of people here cook year around (winter is best) and walmart still does not stock RO.  I asked the dept head why, and he says they are way more worried about selling christmas trees and ornaments.  In October no less.
  • Looks like a cardiac patient with all those probe wires sticking out. )
  • @travis that looks really good, going to give that a try tonight. How hot on temp?
  • The ones I have done are with 80/20 and turned out well.  Too lean means less flavor usually. Good looking meatloaf.
  • @Gabriegger  I have never cooked a fresh ham before,  what kind of wood for smoke and what for internal temp?  ThanksReally looks great!

  • @nolaegghead  Thank You
  • @733102243  Keep asking questions, it is a great way to learn.  Not everyone here responds with wisea$$ answers.  Some really do offer good info.
  • @yumdinger  If you have too many walleye, maybe I should send you my address? )
  • Sometimes a pain to remove the membrane,  would be great to find them without.
  • @Mighty_Quinn  Really easy recipe, will try that one for sure.  I assume indirect on the egg?

  • Tj, where did you find sweet potato tots?  Or did you make them?
  • That is some good looking stuff. There are some other threads going currently about bacon.  Try those or use the search engine.  I have not done it personally, but thinking about it.  Good Luck

  • What a bunch of media hype.  If there is a bacon shortage, there will be a pork shoulder and rib shortage as well.  I do expect all meat prices to go up due to the shortage of feed in the midwest.I have a high school buddy in Nebraska with over 5000…
  • @jehaack  Suprised to hear Omaha Prime has went downhill.  When we ate there it was top notch.  Food was excellent as well as service.  I take yelp reviews with a grain of salt. Typically only bitchers take the time to do the review sadly.F…
  • Have ate a lot of wild game over the years, but never cared for ducks and geese.  Best recipe I have heard yet is to take the duck or goose and boil it inside an old shoe for 3 days, throw the duck away and eat the shoe. ) Just having a little fun, …
  • Never lived there but visited often when we lived in Nebraska.  Great town, check out the old market area downtown, some really good restaurants and interesting shops.  Omaha Prime was a favorite of ours. Great steaks and everything is ala carte. go…
