  • Love the pics and especially the Husker bottle opener. With the way our team has played the past 2 weeks, I'm sure the opener has been used a lot- similar to mine. Made chicken bombs on the egg today to cheer me up after the FB loss and the men's BB…
  •  Pheasants, Runza's and the Huskers. That's my type of day. Good to see the boys rolled yesterday. Thanks for sharing as always. GBR!!!
  • TK- yes that's a beautiful part of Nebraska. I was just out in Sidney a few weeks ago for work. Love it out there. I was posting from my cell earlier today on my way home from my family vacation and didn't see your signature line which stated where …
  • TK: I'm in Omaha- you? I didn't realize you were a Husker fan until Fla Husker mentioned it. Good to have another Husker around:-)
  • What's a Runza? Just kidding. You know you're a Husker when you know what a Runza is- LOL. The FB season is just around the corner. Cant wait for tailgating at the Husker games and using some of the recipes from this forum. GBR!!!
  • I agree with the weed torch. I also bought the looftlighter when I first bought my XL 2yrs ago but won't go back to it. It works well but no comparison to the cost and ease of use for the torch. Would also recommend the same model weed torch as show…
  • Awesome table and of course I really love the Husker bottle opener and Nebraska l. plate. Nasty in Omaha too yesterday with torrential rain and tornado warnings. Both of my BGE's came out unscathed which is all that matters:-)
  • Happy Birthday from a fellow Husker! Glad your weather is better than Omaha's today. It was 80 degrees+ plus for the spring FB game yesterday, but 40 degrees and sleeting today. What a winter...
  • Always great to welcome a new BGE friend. "Nebraska Nice" as they say good buddy-right:-)
  • Welcome to the board. Great to have anyone new especially a baseball Egger:-) Enjoy!!!
  • I have the model numbers switched around above. Guess I should have waited until I was back home today from the road to check instead of relying on memory. Corrected model #'s below: Weber cover for XL- model # 7569- this is the one with the zipper…
  • The Weber model number for the Medium Egg is 7569- bought this one at Ace Hardware. It's heavy duty and black similar to the one I mentioned above for the XL. It is actually customizable and there are two zippers, one on each side. If you zip the zi…
  • The model number for the Weber heavy duty cover for the XL is 7574 (black color). It covers the XL perfectly including the side mates and extends down to the wheels. I picked it up at Lowes. I have tried two or three other covers and this one is ide…
  • They're on sale this week at the stores in Nebraska. 2-3 $'s off each flavor. I'm not sure if they're on sale nationally. FYI.
  • I'm on the road until Friday but I found two great Weber alternative covers for my XL and medium. They are heavy duty & fit perfectly including side shelves. I didn't want to purchase the expensive BGE covers and I wanted black not green covers. Eac…
  • You win-LOL. Born and bred Red here too but I also root for many other teams. I was just giving you a hard time. Love the quilts and also the car stickers! Huskers lost a tough one @ Arkansas tonight in BB 4-3 but there's always tomorrow. Keep up th…
  • NPHusker- enjoy your many posts from a fellow Husker based in Omaha. One question though, why the picture in the Bronco's jersey vs a Husker's jersey:-) I only ask because I'm in Denver today on business and Bronco's gear is everywhere. GBR!
  • I used to sell MRI's so as Eggcelsior said, some crazy things happen when you mix the MRI field with magnetic objects. Similar to flames and combustible objects:) Scary stuff and glad everyone is okay.
  • Grew up in Omaha, NE, moved to the Great White North of downtown Minneapolis for a few years after my playing days in college and now back to Omaha or the "Big O" as we're called- home of the College World Series and Nebraska beef.
  • Thanks for the input everyone. It is appreciated!!!
  • Welcome back to Omaha! It should be a great series in my hometown. Hopefully, a few of the BGE community members around the country can make it here to enjoy the tailgating and hospitality.
  • They work great, especially for shrimp. Love my grilling gadgets! Enjoy....
  • I'm in KC once a month and have visited the majority of BBQ restaurants there several times. Oklahoma Joe's "Z Man" brisket sandwich is the best around. Brisket sandwich is very tender with melted provalone and an onion ring on top. Awesome! I also …
  • Have to include the Fairburys if you're a Husker:-) It looks great. Thanks for sharing and GBR!!!
  • Thanks for sharing Sam. Brining has been key for me for turkeys. Good win today for our Huskers. It will give me a chance to have another BGE BBQ meal for a few buddies next Saturday for the Big10 Championship game. GBR!!!
  • I had the same problem with my shelves and tried your solution today. It worked perfectly! Thanks for posting your results. The shelves look like new now.
  • I live in West Omaha and can also offer help. I was transferred back to Omaha from Minneapolis a few years ago and love it here! Many good areas of Omaha to live, but I prefer West O to all of the others IMO.
  • I found mine online at a year ago or they also sell them at Cabela's if you have one near you or I assume they offer them online as well
