I am thinking of getting another. I am leaning towards another XL. I like the idea that I don't have to buy another PS or pizza stone. I don't know what size all I know is I will get another one. The mini is just to small for my needs.

I think dealers shy people away from the XL just because they don't personally have any

To much bark try and wrap in foil in the middle of the cook. Wrapping will (should) speed up the cook. You might try for the 1st 3-4 hours unwrapped then wrap for 3-5 then unwrapped till temp is reached. Let us know what you do and how it works.
