Pickled Jalapeno Peppers
Boil water in a heavy pot just enough to cover peppers with a Tbls salt
Ice water bath enough to cover peppers to stop cooking
1-2 quart pickle jar with seal
2 C boiling water
4 C white vinegar
2 tbls sea salt
2 tsp sugar

If you do oil be very sparing with oil. I do use sweet butter though, it will not impart a bitter flavor with some oils do. I spray my CI grill with pam grilling spray. I have not tasted any fowlness from pam.
