  • Why not put them in zip lock and warm to 120 degrees in water?   This will let the inside temp more equally match the outside temp.  I think the less cooking the better.  Ever other animal on earth does not cook ANY of their food!   A little cooking…
  • I am building mine out of granite.   Lasts forever and even carbide sandpaper will not hurt it.It took 15 minutes to "sand " 1 foot of  the edge of the granite .   Really need diamond blade, but they only cost approx $20.00
  • Why cook food from the fridge temperature of approx 38 degrees?  Why not let it warm up to room temp before cooking?   Why not hot tub it at 120 degrees (sealed  and loose no juices )?
  • It is good to check your gasket for air leaks.  If alot of air is  leaking in,  it will continue to burn lump  when you intended to shut it down.  Do the dollar bill test for air leaks.
